Another Wednesday already! I really love linking up with other bloggers and seeing how everyone is doing. It’s been a really fun and easy way to meet new people and become more apart of the blogger world. If anyone would like to join in check out the original post here.
What I loved about the past week
Well it was a busy week to say the least! I drove up to Salt Lake City to attend a funeral for my good friends father who passed away. It was a beautiful service and even though the circumstances weren’t the best it was still nice to see one of my dearest friends. While up there I did get to go to Ikea which is always amazing! I got some cute teacups there! I didn’t really have a reason to get them other than the fact that they were adorable and that I have always wanted to own a tea set. Which is also dumb considering I hate tea….but I can put hot cocoa or ice cream in them which is just as good. I also got to go rock climbing with my good friend Kylie and her husband. I also had a very fun evening with “the group” on Sunday. You know that group of friends that is considered all of your closest and dearest friends? Yeah that’s who this “group” consisted of. Never a dull moment with those guys!
What I’m looking forward to
Easter! Mostly because I get to send Dakota a cute package since he can’t be here haha. I love doing cheesy stuff like that! Last year I did a little Easter egg hunt for Dakota where each egg gave him a clue to find his Easter basket. It was pretty adorable and you can see the post here. Also my friends are all going to get together and do an “adult” Easter egg hunt sometime and I am really excited to see how that turns out. Each person brings 12 eggs filled with anything other than the typical Easter egg stuff, like candy. So we will see what everyone ends up getting! Any suggestions on what I should put in my eggs?
What I’ve been daydreaming about
Having a dream backyard/patio. You know the ones you see on Pinterest with the lights, and the cute furniture, and all the beautiful yet practical furniture, and everyone smiling while eating BBQ? Yeah I want that! But patio furniture is crazy expensive so it will just be a dream for now.
What I’m craving
Celery and ranch. Don’t ask me why but I constantly just want to grab some celery out of a sandwich bag at work and dip it in yummy liquidy ranch! Doesn’t that sounds so good!! Excuse me while I go to the grocery store.
What I’m watching
Gilmore girls! Any spare chance I get I watch it. I love pretty much everything about it. It is a wholesome show, with humor, sarcasm, values, and just enough drama to keep me guessing. It really could just be my new all time favorite show, but we will have to finish the series first before I make the final decision.
What I’m listening to
Josh Vietti on Pandora. Josh Vietti is an amazing instrumentalist who takes today’s music and orchestrates it. It is seriously perfect and the best station to listen to while getting ready in the morning, cleaning the house, or doing something that requires focus. It’s catchy to keep you going but soft enough to drown out if needed. Seriously, check it out you won’t be disappointed.
What I’m doing this weekend
Hopefully I will be able to get work off so I can attend my friend Carries bridal shower Saturday morning. Then that night I will be going to my friend Brendan’s wedding. And then the rest is just normal. Work, work, and more work. Note to self: Get a regular job that isn’t open on weekends.
What else is new
Well I am currently in the works of a fun project with a company! I will be promoting their site and helping them with a fundraiser and also doing a giveaway so keep your eyes peeled and feel free to help me promote a really amazing cause. You will hear more about it in the next couple of days!

  1. Sounds like you've got a lot going on! I was in Salt Lake last week too! The weather is so dang nice for this time of year, isn't it? Patio furniture really is expensive…but these days, everything feels expensive to me haha Thanks for linking up!

  2. It sounds like you had a great week! And you've inspired me to put up some fairy lights and check craigslist for some cheap patio furniture! I love sitting out at night with a candle lit, just relaxing!

    xo,
    Elizabeth

  3. Sounds like you've got a lot going on! What to put in your easter eggs…Can you fit little bottles of liquor in them?! Haha…Maybe look on Pinterest? Money? I'm looking forward to see a blog post on your Easter egg hunt!

  4. I'm so jealous of your rock climbing day! I've still never been actual rock climbing, only at a gym. & I want ideas for Easter haha I have no idea what to do now that I'm married!

  5. Rock climbing?! That's an awesome picture. I don't think I would have the courage to do that. I wouldn't even rock climb at my college gym. You go girl!

Thanks for linking up with us!

  6. The first time I went I was terrified!! But thankfully I went with really supportive and patient friends so they helped me have a really positive experience. It is so fun and a good workout too so you should definitely try it sometime! Doing it at a gym is fun but actually outside is so much better 🙂

  7. Our first year of marriage I did an Easter egg hunt for him but each egg had a clue in it that led him to his easter basket. The basket was actually a small fishing cooler that I filled with little things that I knew he would like. He loved it and we had a lot of fun! You don't need to do anything big but i'm a sucker for cheesy things and traditions. Good luck!

  8. Little liquor bottles!!! haha sooo smart! I wonder where I could find some in little saint George. I'm planning on doing money is one egg and maybe a trip to Spencer's for other things haha
