This past weekend our friends were going to Disneyland for a few days so we decided to join them! Instead of doing Disneyland for three days though we decided to go to an Angel’s game and Disneyland for just one day. Perfect weekend trip for us!

We bought our tickets a couple of days before we left and even though we didn’t spend much money we got great seats! When we first got to them I didn’t think they were our actual seats because they were so close to the field. The game was a lot of fun but we did get pretty sunburnt from being out in the sun for so long.
After the game we drove to Fat Sal’s for some delicious food!! The night before we were watching Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives and Fat Sal’s was featured on the show. There subs looked amazing and since it was so close we decided we needed to go! Plus it has been on my bucket list to eat somewhere featured on the show so it was a win win for everyone!

I got the Fat Sal sandwich! It had roast beef, french fries, mozarella sticks, gravy, and onion rings (which I opted out) all served on a garlic toasted hero. It sounds like diabetes but it was sooooo yummy!! Dakota got the Fat Joey which had pastrami, turkey, melted swiss, coleslaw, fries, and russian dressing! They had a lot of other types of foods but I made sure to get one that was actually featured on the show. Well worth it!

The next day was our day in Disneyland!! I can’t even explain how excited I was. I love Disneyland! We got up nice and early, picked up Jayson and Ashley, and got to the park right when it opened.

Luckily for us there were hardly any lines and the weather was perfect! Later in the day it did get a little more crowded so we utilized the fast passes so we could get on as many rides as possible in just one day. Look out for my post all about how we made the most out of our day in Disneyland.
On Tuesday we were driving home and made a quick detour to Menifee where Dakota lived for a few years. It was really cool hearing him talk about the memories he had there and get excited about seeing his old house and the lake in their subdivision.
Overall it was a very successful trip! I’m glad we took the time to go and go with friends.
