Hello hello!! Another week went by so fast and I am excited to share it with you 🙂
What I loved about the past week
Dakota and I experimented with some new recipes this week which was fun. We are very simple people (chicken and rice every meal) so buying some steaks was a big deal for us. PLUS it actually tasted good!
Work was really stressful and busy which I loved because it made the days go buy so quickly. Dakota also has been working on getting a new job in his field of choice which has been a whirlwind of decisions and planning. Hopefully all works out for us so send us some positive vibes and if all goes well I’ll share the news!
I also did two photo sessions this week! I am so not a photographer but if someone asks me to take their photos I won’t turn them away. I think it is a blast and I could use the practice anyway 🙂
What I learned the past week
That nothing ever goes as planned. My entire life I have envisioned what my future family life would be like and it isn’t remotely to what I envisioned but I couldn’t ask for anything better. I have an amazing husband, a great family, and supportive friends by my side and I am happy. So even though life throws me curve balls (sometimes all at once) I know I can work through it and understand that there is a better plan for me.
Goal for the week
Last week my goal was to do more acts of service and I would say I did pretty good! I picked up some trash around my apartment complex, helped a friend move, and helped my hubs with a project he has been working on! This next week I want to work on seeing the bigger picture.
What I’ve been daydreaming about
A puppy! I have been wanting a puppy for so long and we might be getting the chance to have one soon! I know they are a lot of work but I think we can take on the challenge 🙂
What I’m looking forward to
I am currently working on quite a few awesome guest posts and features for you guys that I can’t wait to share! There is a decent variety and I have had a blast working on getting everything together so I am looking forward to the next few weeks being busy but lots of fun.
