As most of you know Dakota and I celebrated our third anniversary in Dublin! It was such an amazing trip and I can’t wait to share it all with you. But for now you will just have to settle for some random pictures of around the city. Dublin has so much character and color I was obsessed!
One of my absolute favorite things about Ireland is the houses and doors! I honestly did not see a single door that wasn’t a vibrant color. It was amazing to see these cute generic apartments with a touch of personality! I secretly want a red door for my future home.
This was an old run down church in the center of town. I believe it is actually someone’s home now and the owner made an upstairs living space and uses it for Airbnb guests!
This is the entrance to a bank!! Like what?
I just thought this advertisement was hilarious! It definetly caught our attention however we did not end up eating there.
Funny story about this sign. When we first arrived in Dublin we got on our bus to get to our hosts home. When we got off at the stop we had no idea if we were supposed to go straight, left, or right so we asked the nearest stranger. He kindly shouted at us in his irish accent “do you see that big sign that says P-O-I-N-T that is where you need to go!” We thought it was so funny that he spelled it out instead of just saying “point”. Either way he was helpful and even though he gave us the wrong directions we are still grateful for his memory!
This was on the side of an old run down bar. How cool?!
Another amazing thing about Ireland (other than all the fabulous colors) is that they COVER their streets and building with fresh flowers! It was so beautiful and added such character to the busy city.
Shout out to my little sister McKenna!
We had a great time just taking it easy and exploring the inner city. Sometimes you don’t need to do all of the “touristy” things and just take a moment to appreciate where you are.

  1. Your photos are so gorgeous. I love how bright and colorful they are. And I LOVE murals. So fun. Thank you for sharing. Do you mind if I ask what kind of camera you use?

  2. Thank you so much! The murals were everywhere and each one was beautiful! I just use a Cannon DSLR T5. It's a great simple camera that really upped my photo game. I would love to get a new advanced lens but for now I'll stick to the basics 🙂

  3. Oh, I so want to go to Ireland, and these photos just made me SOOOO jealous. It looks like an amazing trip.. oh, and I love the church as a home thing…I want to do that!
