It is officially October! The weather is finally starting to cool off here (well only because of the rain) and it is my birthday month so basically everything about this time of year is amazing. I have a good feeling about the rest of the year but for now here is a weekly update!
What I loved about the past week
I spent most of it at work (no surprise there) but it was a great week so that was nice. After a couple days of work I went to Disneyland with my friend Amanda! We had a blast and I was able to get a season pass so I look forward to going again. The lines weren’t too bad and it was all decorated for Halloween! While I was in Disneyland Dakota went hunting and even though he didn’t get anything he still had a fun time going out with his friends. I was also able to work on some more craft ideas (I swear one day I’ll finish them). I also got glasses! It is amazing how much more I can see and read. I never realized how blurry my sight was! My headaches aren’t as intense and I can feel the wrinkles around my eyes (from squinting) disappearing! #winning

I also loved putting together this Q&A with Lexi from A Blissful Haven. I love her blog so it was great getting to know her a little more and making this post for her. Be sure to check her out!

What’s New
Dakota was able to see a specialist this last week and after taking some xrays and looking over his MRIs they decided that he basically has the body of a really old man. It is hard to explain but basically his options are to do physical therapy and get cortisone shots but if that doesn’t work than it is surgery. He is scheduled to see the pain specialist this week so we will see what happens.
What I learned last week
That Disneyland is perfect. But we already knew that!
What I’ve been daydreaming of
A clean house. I have been avoiding cleaning like crazy and it is starting to get out of control haha. I did do a little laundry today so that was productive! Hopefully by the end of this week I’ll be able to finish the rest. Also going back to Disneyland because it’s my favorite!
Goal for the week
Other than cleaning the house, finish two of my crafts! I could honestly finish them both in just a couple of hours but I’ve been working on them for so long I’m just over it. But after finishing one of my crafts today I think I’ve got my creative juices flowing again.
What I’m looking forward to
Starting my new position at work. I start training this upcoming week and after so many hours of training and transitioning between the two jobs I will be officially moved over. I should be all done with training and everything by the end of October. I am really nervous about learning so many new concepts but I am excited for the new experience.
How was your week? Any advice on how to finish cleaning my house or finishing my projects?
