How far along? 20 weeks! I can’t believe I am already half way there!

Weight gain? 15 pounds

Maternity clothes? Not yet but flowy dresses are my best friend right now. I’m starting to think I might need some jeans though!

Sleep? I’m not as tired as I was in my first trimester but I still just want to nap all of the time. I think I will forever just be tired. I finally got myself a nice body pillow but I still toss and turn all night trying to find a comfy position.

Best moment of the week? Dakota got his back surgery this past week and everything went perfectly! He is still sore and immobile but I’m glad we got everything figured out before this little man comes to play! Another plus, my bump is getting more noticeable and people other than my family and close friends notice it!

Weird pregnancy symptoms? My ribs hurt so bad all the time! I don’t know what’s going on because he is pretty low and still small so I know he’s not pushing against me. But nothing is comfortable other than laying or standing so my desk job is getting difficult.

Movement? YES! It is so exciting and weird. My mom was also able to feel him move a couple of times which was exciting. He must not like Dakota though because every time he comes to try and feel him move he stops moving! So frustrating. Dakota was able to feel a small kick the other day but I’m not counting it.

Food cravings? Blue slurpees from Target and only Target. I have had a couple slurpees from some gas stations and they are not as satisfying as the ones I get from Target – plus it’s a good excuse to go to Target 😉

Anything make you sick? Meats still make me a little sick but not nearly as bad which is good since I really need to increase my protein intake!

Gender? Boy!

What I’m looking forward to? Finishing the nursery and baby registry! I know we still have tons of time but we cleaned out our guest bedroom and bought a crib and now I just the nursery to be done and cute. And looking at baby stuff for a few hours and playing with a scanner just sounds so fun 🙂

  1. I haven't been all that comfortable in anything other than dresses and skirts. It must be how he's sitting. Feeling them move is so cool. It took a little while for it to be more consistent but now Jordan is able to feel him move regularly.
